Help Peg Leg Pete keep putting his best paw forward
On August 17th, Pete went to the veterinarian for X-rays and the care he desperately needed. Ultimately, his injured leg had to be amputated. And as if that weren’t enough for this sweet boy to overcome, we also learned that Pete is heartworm positive. He has survived the first major hurdle, but Pete has a long road of healing and treatment ahead of him. We need to raise $2,000 to help cover Pete’s veterinary expenses and give him the recovery he deserves. Pete may have lost a leg, but he gained something much bigger: a future. Now we need our community to help us protect it.
