About:
Hi there, I'm Tsuki. My name means "moon" in Japanese, and just like moonlight, I'm gentle, quiet, and soft-hearted. I may be shy when we first meet, but beneath my timid exterior is a loving soul simply waiting for someone to show me that I'm finally safe.
Once I trust you, my affectionate and curious side begins to shine. I'll ask for chin scratches and belly rubs, give tiny face kisses, and lovingly bump my head against you to let you know how much you mean to me. If you lay down next to me, I'll star grooming you. When given catnip and belly rubs, I'll grab your hand and give tiny bites and kicks. I adore chicken treats, catnip, boxes and spending peaceful afternoons watching the world from a sunny window.
Life wasn't always kind to me. Before I was rescued, I survived outside while pregnant, finding shelter beneath cars and hiding in ditches while searching for food. During a storm, kind rescuers brought me to safety just before I gave birth. Although I heartbreakingly lost one of my kittens, I devoted myself to being the very best mother to my daughters, Willow and Annelise.
Now that my babies are growing up, it's finally my turn to be loved and cared for. After a harsh start in life and being a kitten myself, I would love to be someones baby. Some humans were not kind to me while living on the streets, so affection was unfamiliar, but as weeks have gone by, I've found myself seeking love and attention. I'm hoping for a calm, patient forever home where I can continue healing, feel safe, and spend the rest of my life surrounded by kindness.
