Say hi to Mia! Mia is sweet and is starting to show a bit more of her playful side. She likes to go up to people she deems safe and comfortable to be around with to get a couple of pets and then she'll scurry away to hide in a closet or underneath the bed. She likes to play with anything small she finds and doesn't give much interest to some of the toys we've given her. She’ll also put her paws underneath the door if she sees anything moving on the other side. She spends most of her time hiding underneath the bed or laying down by a window to enjoy the scenery. Mia is still really hesitant around people and her surroundings, she doesn't like being held or getting lots of attention and she prefers to stay in rooms with places where she can hide. Even though Mia hides most of the time, the few moments she's let us be around her have been very sweet and we hope that Mia will find a home where she'll be given the time, love and space to come out of her shell.
