Honey is a former stray mama who spent much of her life surviving outdoors and raising her babies. When she first came into foster care, she was completely terrified. She hid constantly and wanted nothing to do with people. But over the months, this sweet girl has made incredible progress.

These days, Honey will come over purring and even make biscuits nearby. She's started showing her gentle, affectionate side—but always on her own terms. Honey isn't the type of cat who demands attention or wants to be the center of everything. She's independent, low-key, and appreciates having the freedom to choose when she wants affection.

Honey still enjoys having her hiding spots, and that's okay. Every day, she learns a little more that she's safe, loved, and doesn't have to worry anymore. Shy and formerly stray cats often need time to build trust, but watching them blossom is incredibly rewarding.

She'd be perfectly happy as the "extra cat" in your crew—the one quietly lounging nearby, asking for little more than good food, a warm bed, and a home where she can simply be herself.
