Bandit is a sweet, affectionate boy who has been through a lot and is finally learning what it feels like to relax and feel safe.

Bandit came to us from the shelter’s euthanasia list with an unknown past. Despite everything he may have experienced before coming into rescue, he has shown us just how loving he really is. He absolutely LOVES attention and will happily come over to sit in your lap and soak up some affection. And if you really want to win him over? Bring out the Churus! Those are definitely the way to this boy’s heart.

Bandit has had a little bit of a harder time adjusting to foster life. Moving between foster homes and being surrounded by multiple cats appears to have been stressful for him. During periods of stress, Bandit began overgrooming one particular area of his body and needed some extra management — including some time wearing a cone — to allow the area to heal.

The good news is that as Bandit has had time to decompress and settle into a routine, we have started seeing more and more of his wonderful personality come through. Because of his history, we think Bandit would thrive in a **calmer, stable home** where he can feel secure and doesn't have to compete with a large number of other animals for space and attention.

Bandit isn't looking for perfection. He's looking for someone patient enough to give him time to settle in and understand that changes can be a little overwhelming for him. In return, you'll get a very sweet boy who wants to be close to his person, curl up in your lap, and enjoy all the Churus you’re willing to share.
